The Newbury – Taster Menu Evening

I was invited to The Newbury to photograph their new A La Carte menu VIP event. 9 Courses with flight of wine later and I was indeed a very happy foodie!

 Head Chef Darren Booker-Wilson is trying out a new concept for The Newbury. Taster Evenings, will get you 9 courses, with a flight of wine.  This was their tester evening to see what people thought and what a tasty evening it was!

The Taster Menu:

Wild Mushroom Veloute, Garlic Chantilly, Toasted Sourdough

Scallops, Chorizo, Butterbean & Courgette Basil Foam

Chicken Liver Parfait, Redcurrant Gel

Cod, Black Garlic Mash, Crispy Kale, Salsify & Curried Mussels

Duck Breast, Cherry Puree, Spinach, Rosti Potato, Wild Mushrooms

Rump of Lamb, Basil Mash, Ratatouille

Ginger & Chocolate Cheesecake

Banoffee Mille Fuille

Warm Chocolate Tart, Vanilla Pod Ice Cream
