The beautiful and tranquil Quince Tree Cafes are both nestled amongst the stunning grounds of Clifton Nurseries. A serene space to sip your morning coffee, grab a fresh smoothie, meet your friends for afternoon tea, or grab some lunch in-between buying some new pot plants.
A true culinary gem serving mouth watering dishes and a yummy selection of cakes. They have a great offering of healthy meals too. My favourites were the grilled peaches in greek yoghurt & the smashed avocado with pumpkin seeds and chilli – both absolutely delicious!

The atmosphere is busting and friendly, as you bask in the natural and light relaxing space. Especially as you are surrounded by beautiful plants and lots of colourful flowers.
Amy, one of the owners, loved the idea of my four seasons photography package. You buy your hours upfront, and use them as you wish throughout the entire year. Meaning they will get new images of their food, as their dishes change throughout the seasons. From fresh smoothies in the summer to hot soups in winter.
I had a great time photographing my way through their entire menu, and tasting a little of each dish as I went! Oh how I love the perks of being a food photographer!
Here is what Amy had to say about my work:
‘Working with Shannon is a breath of fresh air. Running a busy Cafe business it is difficult to find the time for a ‘shoot. But Shannon just gets on with it during service, working discreetly and professionally, capturing our style perfectly. I was amazed that we could achieve a full food, drink & location shoot during business operating hours. Even the customers loved interacting with her! The outcome is a catalogue of shots that convey exactly our style and product, as well as portraying the actual venues beautifully. After only receiving a very last minute brief this is very impressive! I would not hesitate to recommend her, she’s a joy to work with and her photography skills are second to none. Thank you!’
Thank you for your wonderful words Amy, I look forward to our Winter shoot!
